Cherokee uses DO (dissolved oxygen) modified stainless steel semis that are ideal for shipping a wide variety of products including but not limited to Wine, juice, water, brandy and other hi-proof beverage spirits. Other than our single compartment semis we also have a selection of two and three compartment configurations available to minimize headspace on odd lot shipments. Lightweight aluminum tanks are also available with a capacity in excess of 6700 gallons of dry wine. Lightweight, fuel-efficient tractors allow for maximum payload capacity, which results in lower unit cost and therefore greater savings to the customer.

Fifty-three-foot air ride semis provide the maximum loading capacity allowed in a single unit and high cube design.

Curtain vans offer greater accessibility as they can be loaded or unloaded from either a dock or from the sides. They provide maximum loading capacity due to their high cube design.

Food Grade Liquid Trucks

Assured Product Sanitation
From Pickup to Deliver

Exclusively used to load and unload various liquid food grade products, our insulated stainless steel tanks have specialized in-transit heat capabilities.  Additionally, they have stainless steel food grade pumps and have center drop or rear unloading options. Some commodities to be transported include – but are not limited to – vinegar, chocolate, edible oils, and sweeteners.

We use stainless steel insulated trailers dedicated to hauling food grade products. We’re specialists in hauling all food grade products, as well as being a kosher certified food grade hauler. The inside welds are polished to #4 Milk Finish. The trucks possess heat-in-transit capability. Trucks feature stainless steel food grade pumps and food grade hoses. The sanitary stainless steel fittings are adaptable from 2″ to 4″ systems. The pump box, all domes and outlets are able to be security sealed.

Sugar Pneumatic Trucks

With Maximum Product Protection

We use pneumatic units that are dedicated to the transport of granulated sugar exclusively. The trucks are lightweight and capable of payloads in excess of 50,000 lbs.

Pneumatic trailers are able to load by gravity or can self-load from pressure differential (PD) or air-slide rail cars. Trailers are equipped with both vacuum and pressure relief valves and use 6-inch discharge lines for faster unloading–all of which provides for optimum protection of product grain size.

Closed loop air supply system filters air from receivers storage tank eliminating dust and any airborne contamination from the outside atmosphere during the discharge process.
